New Season Highlights

02 Nov, 2021

Who better to talk to about the colour highlights of the season, than the Head Buyer himself. We spoke to Dallas about three of our hottest hues and prints that you'll see popping up throughout spring/summer, and got his insights as to why they should make their way into your wardrobe.

"COVID-19, which is actually now COVID-21, has got us all longing for something new, something a bit different. So, as we aim for a summer of freedom, we've curated a new season collection to fulfill these desires. Colour plays an important part in any season, however, I feel this season more so than ever. People need some freshness in their life, and what better way to do that than through fashion."

- Dallas

Blush is a beautiful hint of pink that has become the "new neutral". Leading the pastel colour resurgence that we are seeing at the moment, blush has a sense of serenity that we could all do with right now. Think of the inside of seashells, pale peonies, cherry blossoms, and the swirl of the morning sunrise - it's a graceful colour that can be styled for a natural and contemporary look. The whole softening of colour is also easier to work into existing wardrobes.

Mango – a colour inspired by the fruit itself! It’s a happy hue that will add instant vibrancy to your outfit, and even your mood! It's also the perfect colour heading into holiday season, giving you a quick sun-kissed look. Not sure what to wear it with? Tan complements mango beautifully, both offering a warm and tropical feel. Wear it with white for a super fresh look that screams summer, or play it cool with blue denim.

What's not to love about this spotted print? Taking inspiration from one of the fastest wild cats in the world, this collection takes that fierce nature and translates it into fashion. For those who haven't quite dared to bring prints into their wardrobe, leopard is a great place to start. It has a cleaner, contemporary look and feel about it that is easy to pair with the basics: black, white, and denim. Then, you can start getting adventurous!
